This is an all-inclusive, beginner/intermediate level competition with a performance based focus. Judges will focus on character/storytelling, execution and overall performance. We will be accepting 10 competitors of all levels and varying apparatuses.

A non-refundable $65 entry fee can be processed through the ENTRY FEE link on this page.What does the entry fee cover?
The entry fee covers the basic cost of hosting a competition including but not limited to, venue rental, staffing, judges and equipment. -
$50 fee prior to event or within 3 days after the event
10-20 digital photos (typically takes 30-60 days to receive) -
We do not offer professional video. Professional video equipment is not allowed at the event but phones can be used without flash.

We have selected 3 judges based on their experience in the performance industry. Our judging system is based on 3 separate categories, one per judge. Prior to the competition, judges meet to discuss the judging system and how the competition works. Our judges are not allowed to work on any competition routines but may be associated with some of the competitors otherwise.
Judges will be announced prior to the event.

LisaBella
OVERALL PEFORMANCE
LisaBella began dancing at an early age, placing nationally in gymnastics, jazz, lyrical, and acrobatics. In college, while studying engineering, she competed International Latin dance at the open level, drawn to the passion that is so inherent to the style. She later discovered pole, the perfect marriage between challenging acrobatic feats and sensuality. LisaBella is known for her blend of strength and flexibility, her unique choreography, and knack for applying physics concepts to pole to develop useful cues and drills! She shares her passion for pole through teaching, which she has enjoyed since 2019. In 2024, she started teaching aerial straps classes, introducing students to the difficult yet rewarding apparatus that she has grown to love. She has performed over a dozen times over the last year, mainly in New York City, on pole, aerial pole, aerial straps, and loop straps.

Maggie Ann
TECHNICAL & EXECUTION
If you’ve made your way to Paradigm Pole Fitness, you’ve probably run into owner & pole celebrity, Maggie Ann. After competitive soccer, she found pole in 2011 and quickly rose to become a multi-medalist national champion. After falling in love with the expression of creativity, the physical challenge, and the community that pole brought to her life and began to train for pole competitions in 2012. She is best known for her life-changing minor adjustments and nitpicking routines to perfection assisting many in our community to continue on in her footsteps as competition medalists themselves.

Hillary Rachelle
THEATRICAL
Hillary spent over 20 years studying tap, ballet and jazz before finding pole dance. Focusing mainly on aerial silks for the first few years, she felI in love with pole dance and quickly became a instructor. With over a decade of experience performing and competing, Hillary’s strengths lie in the technical aspects of movement with an eye for detail and a keen sense for innovation. With a heavy focus on foundations and fundamentals, Hillary is The Show choreographer and the northeast’s go-to instructor for nitpicking and aesthetics.

The Venue
The JMAC Brickbox Theatre is located at 20 Franklin St. in downtown Worcester, MA. The Worcester PRIDE Festival will be hosting events on Franklin St during the event so please plan accordingly.
PARKING
Parking can be found in surrounding covered lots or street parking. Do not leave items unattended in your car.
DRESSING ROOMS
There are multiple dressing rooms beneath the stage with designated restrooms, a small kitchen and ample space for warming up. No apparatuses will be provided in the dressing room area. All pole & aerial equipment will remain on stage.
STAGE
The stage is floor level with stadium seating.
JUDGES
The judges table will be front and center.
STaGE layout
POLES: 45mm X-Pole X-Stage Lite stage poles with approximately 4-6 feet of distance between the edge of the stage pole base and 10-12 feet of distance between the pole bases.
AERIAL: Ludwig quad rig set to approximately 14ft height with competitors bringing their own apparatuses and rigging equipment. A 2” gymnastic mat will be provided and positioned underneath the aerial rig for the competition.
