Aerial dance
Aerial dance is exactly what is sounds like, dancing in the air. Our studio offers a variety of pole dance & aerial acrobatics for a muti-faceted dance and fitness experience. Like most sports, pole & aerial have levels so we can start out with the basics and build up from a foundational level.
Pole & aerial can involve high level aerial tricks but they don’t have to! At the core, pole & aerial are still dance and do not necessarily include climbing or tricks. Heels pole dance classes often include dance based combinations or choreography much like any other dance class but with the added apparatus (pole).
When we do begin learning tricks, we start low to the ground; Simple poses and lifts to condition our body for more advanced movements. Lifted tricks for beginners often include a variety of kicks, sweeps and jumps. We do not start going upside down until we are comfortable with tricks upright.
